7 Super Awesome Healing Tea Remedy Recipes

You may have heard that tea has a lot of different good effects to your body. This is true. There are also many different kinds of teas out there.

Tea remedies have been known to have somewhat magical effects on the body.

I’m no tea drinker, but there are positives about these remedies that I cannot overlook. These tea recipes have made me more of a tea drinker and have made my body feel a hundred times better than what it did prior to drinking them.

Sleep

Sleep is crucial for everybody. Not everyone needs 9 hours of sleep a night, but you need at least a decent nights sleep if you are wanting to get the most out of every single day.

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 dried chamomile leaves or chamomile tea bag
  • 1 cup water

Chamomile is soothing and relaxing and will put your body in a state that will allow you to get the rest you are desperately looking for.

Sore Throat

Around this time of year, the beginning of Fall, the weather starts to change and with that change, comes a little adjustment period for our bodies. They aren’t necessarily used to the colder temperatures that are coming so it is very easy to get a sore throat from a minor sickness.

This recipe gives you much needed vitamin C while bringing a soothing feeling to your throat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 and a half teaspoon lemon
  • 1 cup water
  • Dash of cinnamon

Sinus Infection

Let’s admit it, sinus infections suck! They are no fun to deal with and they can make any day horrible. The faster you can get rid of a sinus infection when it starts, the better off you will be.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1-2 inch sliced ginger
  • 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

Headache

Headaches can sneak up on you out of nowhere and can be a real pain to deal with at time. Ginger is something that has been known to be extremely effective against headaches. This is what this recipe calls for.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1-inch piece ginger
  • 1-2 slices lemon

Cold

Colds are always a hassle. They never seem that bad, but they are a nagging sickness that seems to take forever to go away. This recipe calls for some garlic which is naturally anti-bacterial and antiviral. It fights the germs that cause the common cold.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey

Bloating

Everyone, at some point or another, feels bloated. Maybe it’s from overeating or maybe it’s just one of those days where you just wake up and you feel like a bigger person, not in a good way either. In this recipe, there is peppermint which is an ingredient that is great for fighting abdominal bloating.

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon peppermint leaves
  • Dash of honey
  • A few drops of lemon
  • 1 cup water

Clear Skin

For clear skin, this tea recipe may be one of the most widely known types of teas. Green tea is great because it is filled with loads of antioxidants. This tea gets rid of a lot of oiliness in your skin and helps protect against acne-causing bacteria.

Ingredients:

  • 1 green tea bag
  • 1 cup boiling water

Anxiety

There are millions of people that suffer from some form of anxiety. This recipe helps relax you and helps ease any anxiety you may be feeling.

  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • Dash of honey
  • 1 cup water
